While the article is interesting for developers, I think it’s a critical read for anyone in the book publishing industry. Even if you don’t understand all the tech references, the point here is on the challenges and costs of physical distribution and how these were disrupted by the advent of the internet. It is, in other words, exactly the disruption the book industry is currently undergoing.
