So, okay. I’m sure everyone has seen this by now, but I have to ask: how do the drones know where to leave the package? Does the guy have to return that yellow box, or is that just a “test box”? (Or does the drone come back for it?) And, most importantly, will we ever get this in Australia?

Hah! That last was a trick question: of course we won’t.

Between this and Google’s self-driving car, it’s almost like the future is finally on its way. And drones dropping packages on customers sure beats dropping bombs on villages, so there’s that, too.

Maybe Amazon is where ex-war drones go to retire. I can imagine them all now, hovering around inside the Amazon warehouse, muttering, “I seen some shit, man. I seen some shit…”
