I’ve always thought of Labyrinth as the anti-NeverEnding Story (specifically the 1984 film version, not Michael Ende’s original book)—where the power of imagination eventually trumps all in the latter, Labyrinth is all about the balance between the real world and imagination, and about finding joy in both.
