You can protest your logic and imparitiality all day long, but the only honest statement is that we’re all biased. The decisions of parole judges, professionals who spend their entire careers making decisions about the fate of others, are measurably affected by whether they had just eaten lunch. And that’s with a much more rigorus and formal process whose rules are in the open. But you’re sure your process is totally solid, right?
